BLK Auto, proudly released Australia’s first Hydrogen Fuel Cell Coach in October 2021. The culmination of over 18 months R & D, this was the first of ten Hydrogen Fuel Cell Coaches ordered for use in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
Our lead technical advisor for Hydrogen Technology, Mr Graham Belgum, was instrumental in seeing the first 10 hydrogen fuel cell buses go into service in the UK back in 2003, He was the Engineering Director for First Group in London, which also introduced and designed the refuelling infrastructure and workshop area to maintain FCEV Buses for the Olympics.
BLK has also provided 3 Axle Battery Electric Coaches for mine operators in Australia. Our engineers focus on ensuring bus operators achieve their desired performance at the EOL (End of Life) rather then at day one. This ensures that the vehicles meet the needs intended by the operator.
