The journey to create the worlds first (HFC) hydrogen fuel cell coach commenced back in 2019. After visiting multiple bus and fuel cell manufacturers, we chose BLK as they were able to build this coach to meet the rigorous requirements that our client demanded. Horizon was chosen as our fuel cell provider as they had several hundred HFC vehicles already in service. For the next 18 months, specialist engineers from USA, China and Australia met twice a week via VC as the design and construction of this coach was put into life. In August this year, our coach completed a 15,000 powertrain verification by FEV, an independent testing authority. The end result is that we are now able to present the worlds first Hydrogen Fuel Cell coach. We are extremely pleased with the end result as we can now offer an extremely safe, quiet, robust passenger coach able to fit 50 passengers in comfort. The only emission produced by the running of the coach is PURE WATER! Zero emission transport is here to stay and Hydrogen now compliments the range of products available by BLK Auto.
